This HM-2 Drenched Band From Singapore – Offset – Demands Your Ears

Singapore deathpunk band OFFSET was formed very quickly over the course of a two-day rehearsal session where the “Besmirch” demo was also recorded live at TNT Studio by K.K Wong (Ah Boy) in one recording take, with the vocals recorded during a different session. The concept behind OFFSET is to create music in an almost spontaneous-like fashion; fast and sharp riffs razor through under the wrath of the mighty Hm-2.

According to the label, Dismal Fate Records, who is releasing this stellar demo on limited edition cassettes:

“From an unknown crypt of Singapore a new debut demo tape is taking form. Dismal Fate Records presents this new putridness, for fans of the deathpunk dbeat noise, here is Offset’s BESMIRCH!”

Not to be outdone by Dismal Fate Records, Offset has also managed snatch the eye of yet another label to help release the demo on CD format by way of US based label Horror Pain Gore Death Productions.

The band also includes a pretty badass lineup of Singaporean musicians in its ranks:

Shamtos (Onset, Desolation) – Bass
Fadzlly (Fall Of Mirra, Raspatul) – Drums
