The Philippines-based punk band The Beauty of Doubt have just released this awesome lyric video for the track ‘The Humbling’ off the band’s second full-length ‘The Nothing’.
Vocalist Ron was kind enough to send us some information – one with a tidbit of a surprise. For your reading pleasure, we’re literally copying and pasting the whole conversation:
UA: Can’t wait to put up that new lyric video! Can you give me a few sentences about the song, the video, and an update on the band?
Ron: Hi, Riz! Thanks for the interest! The Humbling lyric video was created by Mika using footage from some of our live gigs. Mika is the 16-year old daughter of our bass player, Mark. This song is from the second album, The Nothing, released in 2005. Currently, The Beauty Of Doubt is working on new material for their fourth release.
UA: What??? That’s so sweet dude!!!! What was his reaction when she showed it to him???!
Ron: Hahahaha! She surprised him.
UA: That’s amazing!
Ron: He was wondering why she kept asking her for links to our live shows.
UA: This is so cool! What’s the song about?
Ron: It’s about life, and how it puts us in our place. How you could have everything and still have absolutely nothing. But, ultimately, we all need it – life making it a humbling experience for all of us.
There you have it – go check out the lyric video and since it’s awesome, you’re probably going to want her to help you out – so go hit up The Beauty of Doubt on their FB page to find out how!
