Huge thanks to go out to those of you out here in Asia who continue document our strong hardcore, punk, metal communities spread across this continent. When the internet is full of video and documentation of the American and European scene, it is easy to think that what we see will only ever exist out there. But people like the folks behind AMPM who’ve been an OUTSTANDING job of documenting the explosive Indonesian hardcore scene, keep reminding us that we can see people who look more like US up on stage as well surrounded by more people who look like us in the audience as well!
Check out this breathtaking fullset live video of Indonesian hardcore band Feel The Burn‘s very last show. The band released a phenomenal record before bowing out last month…fucking great band…great guys…can’t wait to hear what the members will be up to next.
“It doesn’t feel like our last show is only a few days away. It doesn’t feel like this band has been breathing for 7 years since 2011. So many beautiful and bad memories that color our journey. This is also where we learned everything about friendship, idealism, ethics, politics, DIY, because this has given more than it should, so much education that we have received. We believe this scene will continue to exist and develop as long as there is new blood, there is nothing we love more than our own local scene. For the every day person, this is just a waste of time, for us this is everything. We believe this place will always be a safe place for all of us, far from contamination.
