Hardcore Band CENTIPEDE Release New EP ‘Death Sentence’ [Malaysia]

Kuala Lumpur-based hardcore band CENTIPEDE are back with a new EP titled DEATH SENTENCE. This EP comes after a gap since their last EP in 2023, and marks a new phase for the band. With Death Sentence, CENTIPEDE decided to experiment more and move away from their older sound. Death Sentence is also the first EP CENTIPEDE recorded with Amir, their new guitarist. His addition brought a different approach to songwriting and helped shape the overall direction of this EP.

One of the tracks, “DON’T FOLD”, features guest appearances from Syimer (Final War) and Imran (Tricks), both coming from fellow hardcore bands based in Kuala Lumpur.

Although the EP was officially released in November 2025, CENTIPEDE had already performed songs from Death Sentence earlier at Concrete Jungle 2025 in Thailand.
