Hardcore Act Neck Deep in Filth Release Lyric Video Addressing Important Issue – Listen [Nepal]

Kathmandu-based hardcore band Neck Deep In Filth has released a lyric video for ‘Traitors In Their Midst’, a track off the ‘Paranoid Sovereignty’ EP, which was released in early 2020 (the EP is streaming below).

‘Traitors In Their Midst’ is about Brahmanical patriarchy and how it has suppressed women in South Asia – through the contrasting ways sons and daughters are treated at home, through the practices of female infanticide, dowry, and menstrual exile, and through unequal citizenship laws that have rendered thousands stateless.
