Happy Mother’s Day! Check Out Women’s Issue of Hong Kong Zine Gnawbone!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing people out there doing the best they can to raise and provide for their families! Some moms are stay-at-home moms, some are out at work, some have to do both, some have to be both the mom and the dad, some have endured hell and tragedy and are still surviving every day to be there for their children. THEY ARE ALL HEROES.

In March of this year, Hong Kong-based zine Gnawbone released an issue focusing on celebrating women. Though this particular issue is a couple of months old and was certainly not intended to celebrate only moms (as the issue even poignantly addresses stereotypical gender roles), the main brains behind this zine, Mooncasket, was kind enough to send us the PDF version of it and it timed just right for Mother’s Day!

“Girls supporting Girls!

Celebrate and support the day through art and creativity! This cute zine project is dedicated to all the women who make cool shit. Featuring six local female creatives who bring good vibes to our community. They share their thoughts on gender roles and their pivotal moments of being an artist.”
