Happy Edge Day!

To continue the celebrations check out brand new American straight edge hardcore band Balisong featuring Pinoy vocalist! Not only is this band fucking awesome…and not only did the band make their first demo entirely a FREE download…but the band also recorded the whole thing in ONE day last week…

The band features members of Twitching Tongues/Nails/God’s Hate/Freedom…the list is actually endless – basically an all star cast of straight edge hardcore dudes coming together to create some aggressive sounding hardcore punk.

When we asked Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues, Nails) for more information about the band he sent this in:

“We wrote and recorded the demo in one day last week! We wanted some sick new super aggressive straight edge shit. Alec is Filipino and sings, he also plays guitar in Freedom & True Love, and bass in Twitching Tongues as of this year. Colin is obviously in God’s Hate and Twitching Tongues, Josiah the drummer also sings in Criminal Instinct + The Midnight Sons.

Our first show is this Saturday in Van Nuys with God’s Hate & Vamachara”
