Groove Metal Band ZYGNEMA Hit The Streets of Mumbai For New MV [India]

Mumbai’s very own thrash/groove metal powerhouse, ZYGNEMA, release their latest music video for Grind today, delivering a fierce anthem that captures the raw, relentless energy of the city. Shot on the bustling streets of Mumbai, the video embodies the grit, resilience, and spirit of India’s “city of dreams” with brutal riffs, searing vocals, and an unfiltered portrayal of its vibrant culture.

Formed in 2006, Zygnema has solidified their legacy in India’s metal scene and beyond, with two acclaimed albums and their recent EP, Iconic. Known for their high-energy performances and blistering sound, the band has a decorated history, having won Best Metal Band and Best Metal Song at the Rolling Stone Metal Awards in 2011. They represented India at the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle in Germany in 2012 and took home several awards at the Yamaha Asian Beat 2010 and Rolling Stone Metal Awards 2016.

The video for Grind captures the spirit of Mumbai and its people, offering a visually raw journey through the lives of the city’s hardworking residents. “This is our ode to the people of this city who make it so special,” shares Zygnema. “It doesn’t matter what class or strata you belong to. The city has its way of binding us all together.”
