WORMROT have released a scorching new live version of ‘Outburst Of Annoyance’.
The original line-up’s new take on the track is a visceral display of sonic violence in its most organic, unbridled form. It follows the release of ‘Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Grind (Live)’.
Meanwhile, the new video that accompanies ‘Outburst of Annoyance (Live)’ takes fans behind the studio doors, capturing their 60-second demonstration of power in all its unfiltered, noisy glory.
“Thrash, pogo goregrind and nu-metal all in one, ‘Outburst Of Annoyance’ is one of our rarest yet one of our best, making its way back into our latest ‘TNT’ release and our current tour playlist,” the band says. “We’re on a 2-month tour right now in the US and ending it big at Maryland Deathfest. Catch us play all the songs on ‘TNT’ this tour!”
The track is taken from Wormrot’s forthcoming album ‘TNT’, which will be released on 30th May via EARACHE. It was recorded in TNT Studios in the band’s homeland of Singapore, reuniting Wormrot’s original lineup – Rasyid Juraimi (guitar), Arif Rot (vocals) and Fitri Hamid (drums).
The original version of ‘Outburst Of Annoyance’ was released in 2012, taken from the band’s EP ‘Noise’.
‘TNT’ is available to pre-order now via Earache Records on limited edition black/clear half n half vinyl, limited edition white vinyl, black vinyl, CD and classic style cassette – grab that shit right HERE.
Wormrot are currently touring the US with their original line-up for the first time in 13 years on their Scums headline tour in April/May, with support coming from Washington D.C.’s No/Más. Following that, they will head to Europe, playing festival dates and headline shows with support from Bleachdrinker. They will perform in the UK at Manchester’s Damnation Festival in November, following an Australia tour in support of Pig Destroyer in September.
