You Gotta Check Out Post Punk Band The Vinyl Records [India]

Our guest for this week’s Unite Asia Podcast turned us on to this AMAZING riot grrl-inspired post-punk band from India called The Vinyl Records. This is a band that we wrote about way back in 2016 (HERE) but we’ve completely not been keeping up with the band. When our guest talked about a “riot grrl” band from India we immediately had to search online to read up on the band and then remembered that we did talk about them back in 2016. Reading through tons of interviews on the band, it fills us up with immense pride that a band that is so vocal about being strong, proud feminists continue to exist on this planet and more importantly, in South Asia.
