Check out Singaporean death metal band Nafrat on their brand new track ‘In Absentia’ off the band’s upcoming 3 track EP ‘Veins’ scheduled to be released early 2022. The band definitely gets technical and incredibly atmospheric on this track! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP. The band states, “We are pleased to announce our new music in the form of ” Veins ” which was recorded during this pandemic period, albeit the social restrictions in place. This was also a period where we had a new drummer going through internal transitions and having lost access to our social media. We’ve decided to start over and are proud to drop this release for those that have supported us over the years and also future listeners that might like our stuff. Cheers!”

The EP follows up on the band’s second full-length, Abnegation, released back in 2018. On this brand new EP sees the band delving into subjects of emotional trauma, polarization, and perceptive behavior. ” Veins ” will be only available for free in various digital platforms without any physical copies. The band takes a straight-up independent approach for the release of this EP.
