Get On This! Powerviolence/Hardcore Split Release by HIGHXVOLTAGE and SPEECH ODD Out!

Goddamn…it’s only the second day of the year and the posts that we’ve been putting up continues to show you just how much growth bands from our communities out here have made in the past few years. Thailand especially has EXPLODED. 2 bands that are fully part of all the attention that Thailand has been getting are powerviolence bands SPEECH ODD and HIGHXVOLTAGE. Both these bands have just released their highly anticipated split record that’s coming out on cassette and vinyl formats.

“We wanted to go even more dark and aggressive on these songs especially compared to our previous 2 releases. We incorporated hardcore punk, thrash metal and even grindcore in the mix. Also, this is a good taste of our upcoming album will feel/sound like.

The songs are about seeking power. It’s about how people use god and a “savior” as a way to control people by creating all the rules.”
