It really is just crazy how every Indonesian hardcore release just tops the last Indonesian hardcore release. Like you haven’t properly digested the killer riffs, and songwriting, and all of a sudden there’s another one for you to listen to in your inbox. Medan hardcore heroes Pleazure and Pain just dropped a brand new EP, the first after they smashed in 2019’s ‘Hidden Agenda’, and this shit SMOKES.

The madman behind this band, Ito, was kind enough to send in some info about this awesome collection of fire.

“‘Big Boom Bye’ is our first EP since ‘Hidden Agenda’ (2019) and on this, we’re continuing to search for our sound and discovering how hardcore will always be intense, angry, and raw and we wanted to add some touch of 00s hardcore. The title track ‘Big Boom Bye’ is about becoming an adult or dad and seeing your son/daughter grow up and choose their own path. The concept of the past is a riddle of what’s good and bad.”

Oh – the band even throws a The Stone Roses cover in the mix! Sick…
