New Noise are thrilled to present two special shows for iconic Japanese band envy OfficialENVY. The band will play Shanghai MAO Livehouse on Jan 18 and Beijing OMNI Space on Jan 20. Their music, through their own evolution, encompasses a sound where intensity and beauty coexists. Standing on the foreground of the Japanese underground scene, these legends have recorded over a dozen of albums and with each album since their inceptionin the early ’90s the group have chipped away at the linguistic and cultural barriers inherent in international rock music. Envy toured all throughout the world with Mogwai, ISIS, Deafheaven, and many more. Envy toured their songs relentlessly for over two decades, and will continue to do so well into the future. An Envy show is a great intense experience not to be missed!
