Emo Band BEESWAX Return With New Single About Resilience [Indonesia]

Indonesian emo outfit BEESWAX return with a powerful new single, “THE BRIDGE OF EMPTYNESS”. This song is a heartfelt indie-rock anthem about commitment, resilience, and love tested by life’s trials.

Inspired in title by the acclaimed film The Pursuit of Happyness, the track marks the first glimpse into Beeswax’s upcoming fourth full-length album, set for release this April. With slow-burning indie rock textures and emotionally charged storytelling, the song uses the metaphor of a bridge to represent the obstacles couples must cross together, a theme that feels deeply relatable across generations.

The single arrives alongside a cinematic music video directed by Ahyas Budi and written by Iqbal Febrian P., featuring fellow musician Steffani BPM portraying a woman redefining her life after marriage and motherhood. It is set to release to coincide with Valentine’s Day on February 14th, 2026.

Beeswax’s forthcoming fourth album is a special remake project, revisiting and reimagining their early releases, “First Step” EP and “Growing Up Late,” bringing renewed depth and maturity to the band’s formative works.
