DEMO ALERT: China’s Greater Bay Area Unite In New 00s Style Hardcore Act – ANEMOIA

Stoked for Southern China to have more and more hardcore bands out in the world! Check out newly formed band ANEMOIA who feature members from 3 different Southern Chinese cities including Macau, Zhuhai and Guangzhou. The members themselves hail from existing hardcore band such as SUCH GREAT HEIGHTS, MYSTRIVE and WHAT YOU DON’T SEE – all bands we’ve written about repeatedly here on Unite Asia.

“We define our style of music as ‘Myspace-core’ with a foundation for a love of bands like POISON THE WELL, VEIN FM and FOREIGN HANDS. In fact, the name of the band comes from a Foreign Hand’s track,” state the band. When the band reflects on their debut 3 track demo streaming now, “Our first 3 tracks reflect our mindset during tough times—choosing between falling or rising. We chose to rise, with raw emotion.The acoustic song “Untitled” will be play in our gig as an interlude, it’s chill time for the moshers. We want to make everything “revival ” and retro, so the demo were released on cassette tape cover. The album will feature more new songs and 6 member’s full energy.”
