After going through a period of lineup changes, PREJUDIZE has now solidified its current formation and is ready to move forward at full speed. Ahead of their upcoming EP scheduled for release in the second quarter of this year, they have dropped a teaser in the form of a single titled “Bloods of Purgatory” on April 5, 2026. Showcasing a denser, more death metal–oriented approach, this track serves as a glimpse of the darker force Prejudize will unleash in their forthcoming EP.
Now solid with Arga (vocals), Riansyah (bass), Ale (formerly on drums, now on guitar), and strengthened by new members Gilang (guitar, Oblivium) and Ruly (drums, Ametis), the band has refined material that is darker, more grinding, aggressive, and heavily infused with death metal elements. This evolution is influenced by the new members, who bring strong roots in metal, ultimately blending with Prejudize’s previous hardcore/metal character.
Not only musically, but narratively, the band is also venturing into deeper—spiritual—territory. However, rather than presenting something sacred, they explore the opposite: betrayal of faith, bloodshed that follows, and the inescapable fate of humanity beyond its own control. This further intensifies their already “hell-ish” sound, offering a foretaste of an even more lethal release ahead.
The upcoming EP will be released in collaboration with two labels from different countries: HUSTED RECORDS for local distribution and HOLDING ON RECORDS (Thailand) for Southeast Asia and broader Asian distribution.
In addition to the EP plans, Prejudize is also rumored to embark on a Southeast Asian tour in support of the release. Details regarding the EP release date and tour schedule will be announced soon.
