Hailing from the hills of Kalimpong (West Bengal, India), WAR TONIGHT has unleashed their debut original track, “Goddess of War” — a fierce introduction to their melodic death metal sound. War Tonight delivers a message of empowerment through heavy music.

“Goddess of War” is a tribute to every fighter who has battled inner demons, societal pressure, and silence. The band’s name itself is a statement — a reminder that some wars are worth fighting, especially those that demand justice, voice, and strength.

With fierce growls, crushing riffs, and an intense presence, War Tonight is not just making music — they’re carving space for women in the Indian Metal Scene. While female-fronted metal has long been underrepresented in the Indian scene, that tide is slowly turning, and bands like War Tonight are pushing that evolution forward.
