Malaysian death metal act DYING FATE proudly announces the release of their long-awaited debut EP, “Trail of Blood.” This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone for the band, solidifying their presence in the industry.
“Trail of Blood” is an epic journey through the depths of metal, showcasing Dying Fate’s unparalleled talent and unwavering dedication to their craft. With the EP’s release on March 23rd, the band has already treated fans to the blistering single “Cursed Illusions,” which premiered on March 15th, paving the way for the EP’s debut.
Recorded in December 2023, “Trail of Blood” captures the essence of Dying Fate’s musical prowess. The opening track, “Marching From The South,” sets the tone with furious thrashy riffs and impeccable drumming, establishing a relentless pace that carries throughout the EP.
“Fading Memory,” the EP’s second offering, seamlessly blends elements of death and black metal, showcasing the band’s versatility and innovation. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts such as Overkill, Arch Enemy, and Lamb Of God, Dying Fate pays homage to their influences while forging a distinct sound that is uniquely their own.
The EP’s production, helmed by the renowned Keith Merrow, is a testament to the band’s commitment to excellence. Working closely with Merrow, Dying Fate has crafted a modern yet timeless sound that resonates with fans old and new.
“We are incredibly proud to share ‘Trail of Blood’ with our fans,” says Dying Fate. “This EP represents years of hard work and dedication, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally unleash it upon the world. We extend our sincere gratitude to Keith Merrow and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life.”
Formed in 2019, Dying Fate’s journey began when Frontman Eden and guitarist Criss bonded over their shared love of heavy music. With the addition of lead guitarist Raj, the band’s lineup was solidified, propelling them to new heights of success.
Despite facing challenges, including delays caused by the global pandemic, Dying Fate persevered, emerging stronger and more determined than ever. With “Trail of Blood,” they invite listeners to join them on a thrilling musical odyssey, fueled by passion, resilience, and the pure essence of Southern Chaos.
