This is So Damn Good. Hardcore Punk Band Peach Kill It On Just One Track [Indonesia]

Indonesian hardcore punk band PEACH is a brand new act that only formed in August of this year, but on this debut single ‘Caged’ they’re ready to show the world that they ain’t playin’. This shit is real deal hardcore punk with a straight-up-in-your-face reverb-drenched lyrical delivery, and straight-ahead music, but that little hint of melody at the very end of the track really sets this band apart. With this little hint of melody, the band ends the track on an almost Bikini Kill tip. This shit is just fire top to bottom…this is a band y’all need to watch out for!

The band was kind enough to send us some info. “Our sound is similar to Orange County hardcore – bands like 7 Seconds and even any punk song found on Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Our lyrics are mainly about being a woman in hardcore and living with a bad stigma in society. So our motto is – ‘It’s about time this peach bites back’!”

The band has quickly been picked up by killer Medan (Indonesia) label Madafaka Records and plan on getting their debut EP out next year as well as heading out to Singapore and Malaysia for some dates. Go hit the band up to help out!
