City of Caterpillar announce 2018 Asia Tour Dates

City of Caterpillar (USA) has announced a string of shows in Asia for April and May of 2018, bringing to a close the reunion touring that began in January of 2017.

City of Caterpillar originally existed in the early 2000’s as a part of the thriving Richmond Virginia DIY punk/hardcore scene. They have long been considered an innovative and influential band in the scene who uniquely brought together elements of Emotional Hardcore (Screamo) and the more dynamic influences of Post Rock and Indie Rock.

The bands sole LP (originally released on Level Plane Records and Sonzai Records) was reissued in 2016 by Repeater Records (US). In 2017 the band also released a 12” EP of “lost” songs (Driving Spain Up a Wall b/w As The Curtain Dims) on Repeater Records (US) and Adagio830 (EU).

This Asia tour will be the end of a successful year of reunion shows for City of Caterpillar. The past year the band has performed all over the United States and Europe sharing the stage with bands like Pg. 99, Touche Amore, Strike Anywhere, Majority Rule, Doom, Heaven In Her Arms, Thou, and Birds in Row.
