Chinese American punk-hardcore-metal hybrid band Say Bok Gwai release full length. And yo! This shit came out of nowhere! The band is self-proclaimed as the first “Cantocore band in existence”. We think they surely mean in the US? Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen all have hardcore bands that sing in Cantonese. Hong Kong has the band King Ly Chee that has been around since 1999 singing in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
