Over the past year there has been certain scenes around Asia who consistently have been producing hardcore bands that are world class. Without a doubt, one of the places in Asia that has an insanely high caliber of really REALLY good bands is Depok in Indonesia.

The past few months we’ve already put up a few bands, notably Thinking Straight who just released a stellar new record The Old Factory…but over the past few days another batch of bands from Depok have been cropping up on my social media feed that have literally blown me away.

I had to get to the bottom of this and stopped a buddy of mine named Gaga who sings in one of these phenomenal bands called Modern Guns and asked him to just give me a list of Depok bands…this way – this little secret enclave of fucking AWESOME hardcore bands can be shared further with the world.
