CHECK OUT: Brand New Thai Beatdown Band SKEWER Drop New Single ‘Shredded to Scraps’

Check out brand new Thai beatdown band SKEWER on this insane new single entitled ‘Shredded to Scraps’.

The band states, “The song is about pure, extreme violence and destruction. The song portrays madness and the raw instincts of humanity through a gore-driven concept filled with blood, pain, and chaos. The story is told from the perspective of someone completely consumed by bloodlust, where suffering and destruction become an addiction. Once it begins, there is no way to stop or escape it. Only violence that slowly devours everything until nothing remains.

Musically, the main influence comes from the New York death metal scene, especially bands like Dehumanized, Skinless, and Internal Bleeding, known for their heavy, crushing, and raw sound. Eternal Suffering is another important influence, particularly in how they blend death metal with hardcore, which has had a strong impact on us.

At the same time, we’re also inspired by newer bands in the scene such as Final Resting Place, Anhedonia, and Torture, who continue pushing the fusion of death metal and hardcore in an even more aggressive and brutal direction.”
