Check out brand new Singapore based video series Static City. Their first video is up of hardcore punk band SIAL and you can read a brief explanation at what they’re hoping to do with this new initiative:

“STATIC CITY is a representation of a stressed out sleep deprived culture.

STATIC CITY is focused on documenting Singapore’s current and active DIY alternative, punk and hardcore bands.”

All the instruments are recorded live at Project 416. This first video is breathtaking and captures the energy and angst of a band like SIAL – can’t wait to see future videos and of course you should be SUBSCRIBING to their video channel to keep yourself abreast. Rumor has it – that this is certainly ambitious – they’re trying to get a video up a week?! SICK!
