Indonesian collective – Southouse – have released a 29 band compilation featuring bands all over Indonesia and across a whole array of heavy music: black metal, death metal, grindcore, hardcore, etc.

“There is not much we can do in this difficult year, 2020 is indeed a ‘loud’ and tough year, as heavy as the steel structure of a skyscraper. Just surviving, all we can do now is enough. The pandemic has made all sectors die, and of course, music activity is one of the sectors that has also stopped.

Only with creativity and willingness, we finally tried to make a digital compilation album that bands from our circle of friends participated in. The Southouse collective, consisting of scenester and creative divisions located in the south of Jakarta, includes artists, illustrators, photographers, screen printers, musicians, and so on, presenting the first volume of ‘Loud and Unity’, a compilation of 29 track killers from 29 great bands from various genres from various cities in Indonesia, from Punk Rock, post-grunge, Hardcore, Grindcore, Death metal, Black metal to experimental metal, including a band from Singapore that was digitally packaged by Southouse Records.”
