As USA reels from the news that a state is trampling all over women’s rights, here in Asia we too are dealing with a further tilt towards right wing/religious zealot/dictatorial, general rigidness of seeing the world. The progress that it seemed many places around the world had made in terms of being more understanding and empathetic, now feels as if maybe, never happened.

One place in Asia today has changed all that negativity and given us a moment of respite against the march towards the dark ages.
