SETTLE, an alternative rock/emo group from Bali, return with their latest release ‘Her Favorite Dress’ which is the first taste of the band’s upcoming debut album to drop mid-October. “Lyrically, we’re trying to address societal pressure to always follow trends for which many people lose their true identities in order to be accepted by these same social circles.” Written by Yudi Septyan, the lyrics deliver a powerful message about the negative influence of instant appearance culture, which compels individuals to change themselves in pursuit of ever-changing social standards.
