Beijing Hardcore Stalwarts Return With Most Emotional Track To Date – Unregenerate Blood

More known for their pummeling Madball/Terror-take on the world of hardcore, Beijing hardcore stalwarts Unregenerate Blood have instead harnessed their love for the more melodic, introspective world of hardcore ala bands like Have Heart, Comeback Kid, Verse, etc. on their brand new song (and maybe new direction???) ‘Light in the Dark’.

Even lyrically, the band has never previously released something even close to this before:

“The shadow of branches like demons around me
Destroy the nest that I built with all my might
They want me to know that life is fucking pain
I know that’s not true from the bottom of my heart”

So damn good…

If this direction hasn’t already floored us enough, the song even features vocalist Li You’s young daughter on backing vocals. DAMN.

Can’t wait to hear maybe an entire EP of this version of the band!
