Holy crap…wasn’t prepared for the absolute gems that came blaring through our speakers…check out newly formed hardcore punk band RUGH outta Malaysia on their 2 track promo for their upcoming debut EP ‘Quintessence’. The band states, “Our lyrics are about war, suffering, tragedies, and everyday life issues.” Okay. The music that they’ve conjured up garner that bleakness that these types of lyrics would require. “We’re inspired by bands like Baptists and Converge”. We’d add Tragedy, From Ashes Rise as well!
