Awesome Metalcore Act Aarlon Release Music Video and Debut Album [India]

Indian metalcore band Aarlon seriously does the metalcore right. Check out the band’s debut album and brand new music video for the track ‘Inquilaab’ streaming below.

There’s a blatant sense of anger, and socio-political rage which is projected in ‘Inquilaab’. The song speaks about the ideal world where privilege is defined as something which one has to earn and something which can’t be passed down through lineage. ‘Inquilaab’ is an outbreak against a semi-feudal system which we are forced to subscribe to without having a choice of denouncing it.

The soundscape is characterized by melancholic clean vocals and passion-fueled screams which lay on a vast bed of power chords and reverb-soaked synthesizers. The vocal melodies carry extremely strong resolve and contain just the right amount of variety. The songwriting has everything a metal/rock listener will find familiar; the little ambient and toned-down passages, the double-time sections that bookend contemplative verses and the feel-good liftoff choruses that you don’t need a degree in music to jump to.
