DEHUMANIZING ITATRAIN WORSHIP, the pioneering force in the anime slam and brutal death metal scene, is once again primed to demolish musical boundaries with their new single “Brutal Panzer”. This track is a taste of what’s in store from the band’s second full-length, which comes out in 2025 (Release Date TBD) on Stillbirth Records, a subsidiary of Gore House Productions. The band comments on the track:
“This song was inspired by the anime ‘Girls und Panzer’. We love the military otaku culture in the anime, so we created a song with cute melodies, but still brutal, just like the characters in the anime who are kawaii girls but drive tanks into battle. This is the second single we released for our new album. It returns to some of our 2016 styles, but also includes many new ideas.”
“Brutal Panzer” draws direct inspiration from the anime series Girls und Panzer, exemplifying the band’s commitment to creating more than just a musical gimmick. According to Kiryu, the single represents the band’s evolving mission to integrate anime culture into their music authentically.
Founded in 2014 by lead vocalist Kiryu Zhang, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship has consistently pushed the limits of extreme music, creating a groundbreaking sound that defies traditional genre constraints.
With lyrics in both Japanese and English, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship blends the intensity of brutal death metal with the vibrant aesthetics of anime culture. They are recommended for fans of Ingested, Hanabie, and Vulvodynia.
