Anime-Inspired Gore Grind Act HOUKAGO GRIND TIME Announce Japan/Taiwan Tourdates

American anime-inspired goregrind band HOUKAGO GRIND TIME have just announced their first-ever Japan/Taiwan tourdates. The brains behind the act, Ripped to Shred‘s very own Andrew Lee, gave us the lowdown:

“We’re coming to Japan and Taiwan for the first time, promoting our new record HOUKAGO GRIND TIME 2: THE SECOND RAID. We’ll be supported by Obliteration Records in Japan, who released our new CD, and Sleazy Derek, who sang for Ripped to Shreds on the Taiwan shows, and Vigo in Taiwan, who booked the Ripped to Shreds Kaohsiung show. HGT will also be touring with Derek’s gore band Myxoma in America whose dates which will be announced at a later time. I’ve personally seen a lot of support for HGT from Japanese fans who truly understand both moe anime and goregrind/grindcore, and I know the Taiwanese are also anime freaks! So I’m excited to play for an audience who truly understands and appreciates every aspect of HOUKAGO GRIND TIME. I’ve been to Toyko a few times, but it will be my first time in Osaka. Ultra super shout out to Naru, Takafumi, Sleazy Derek, Vigo, Varg Huang, Chris Yeh, Joe Henley, Hagamoto, 楊昕燁, Eric Lee, and all my allies in the far east!!”
