American Hardcore Band PERSONA Announce Taiwan Date

As we announced a couple of months ago, American hardcore band PERSONA have announced Asian tourdates (info can be found HERE). Today, we get to help announce further details of their Taiwan stop, which features some sick Taiwanese hardcore bands like DEFEAT THE GIANT and SPIT.

PERSONⒶ, a hardcore punk act from New York City, will be performing live in Taipei on January 16, 2026. The show is presented by the local punk collective SUCK GLUE BOYS, and will also feature Taiwanese bands Defeat The Giant, SPIT!, and OOZEE.

PERSONⒶ previously released their 7-inch record Free Your Mind! on IRON LUNG RECORDS. On this release, the band kicks things off with sharp, powerful guitar riffs, followed by ferocious drumming that drives the music relentlessly forward. Rich in energy and intensity, the record—despite its running time of just over ten minutes—has become one you can’t help but play again and again.

PERSONⒶ’s Taipei gig is part of their Asia tour. For the tour, the band will also bring their latest release, PERFECTION: “Tour Asia Version”, featuring seven brand-new tracks. The cassette is released by the Indonesian label THE SEATS OF PISS RECORDS.
