American Band YEAR OF THE DEAD (Hong Kong Fuck You) Announce Japan Dates

San Diego experimental punk/noise rock band YEAR OF THE DEAD BIRD (featuring current and former members of HONG KONG FUCK YOU) are touring Japan for the first time this April.

Their new EP “Songs In The Key Of Trash Vol.1” drops Friday, February 27 via Deterioration Studios. A limited run of cassette tapes will be available at the upcoming Japan shows.

“We are Year of the Dead Bird (Ex/Members of HKFY). We are an experimental rock band from San Diego, California. Someone once told us we sounded like Battles on speedballs, and we felt that. We can’t wait to play Japan and drink a nice cold mug of Asahi Super Dry!”
