Amazing New Live in the Studio Video – ENVY – EarthQuaker Session [Japan]

Japanese post-hardcore band ENVY have just released this amazing in the studio live video as part of the EarthQuaker Sessions. EarthQuakers states, “We’re presenting a new EarthQuaker Session with Tokyo post-hardcore legends envy. In this session, the band performs 2 songs “Seimei” and “Zanshin” from an EP released in November 2022. Envy was formed in 1992 and has been a big influence in the independent hardcore scene in Japan and internationally. They have a lengthy catalog that spans from hardcore, screamo, and post-rock. The 6 piece band have an approach to their songwriting where the 3 guitar players Tsuyoshi “Yoshi” Yoshitake, Nobutaka Kawai, and Yoshimitsu Taki each play in different octaves and harmonize together to bring a strong cohesive sound.”
