Last week our friends in Indian hardcore band PACIFIST dropped a phenomenal new track, which you should check HERE, today, Pune hardcore band TRYST are back with a MASSIVE track. Check out the write up below:

““Cancel Culture” is a hard-hitting collaboration between two rising forces in India’s counterculture music scene. Tryst, one of the country’s most explosive hardcore bands, and Costheta, the emerging nu-metal rapper/producer known for shaping India’s modern rap metal sound. The track is written and performed by Tryst and Costheta, produced by Costheta, and mixed/mastered by Vallabh Sivaprasad.

At its core, “Cancel Culture” is a rebellion against the toxic, outdated, and blindly followed social norms that are often defended under the guise of “tradition” or “culture.” The song calls out the herd mentality that keeps society stagnant, highlighting how people continue harmful practices without ever questioning whether they’re right or wrong. It champions the idea of tearing down these inherited, corrosive patterns and creating a new, conscious culture from scratch.

Sonically, the track is a raw fusion of Indian hardcore, metal, and hip-hop, blending Tryst’s aggression with Costheta’s nu-metal edge to deliver a sound that is unapologetic and confrontational.”
