Nepali Death Metal Band ANIMALITY Drop Debut Album [Nepal]

Nepali death metal band ANIMALITY was formed in 2017 and released their first EP, Animality Inherent, in 2018 with an earlier lineup, marking the initial phase of the band’s sound and identity.

The band draws influence from a wide range of extreme music, spanning death metal, grindcore, and thrash, but rather than being driven by specific bands, Animality’s music comes from day-to-day lived realities—experiences that cannot always be expressed openly while leading an ordinary life. Extreme music became the band’s art of expression, a way to translate unspoken experiences into sound.

The material on Third World Brutality was written many years ago and recorded three years before its release. Each song reflects the thoughts, observations, and conditions of that time: how modern society disguises brutality as civility; how beliefs and violence repeat familiar patterns of death; how systems fail human needs and unleash inner ferocity; how insecurity, self-delusion, and mental loops trap people in despair; and how war, debt, cultural coercion, corruption, and economic warfare erase autonomy—especially in the Global South—reducing human life to something controlled, directionless, and expendable.
