Post Black Metal Act ASUNOJOKEI Release Winter Themed New LP [Japan]

Japanese post-black metal band ASUNOJOKEI have released a brand new album entitled ‘Think of You’. The album features a music video for ‘Zeppelin’ which fully embraces the album’s theme of “winter,” creating a visually expansive and open atmosphere.

Since the release of their second album “Island”—a summer-themed crossover of J-pop and black metal—Asunojokei has been actively performing both in Japan and internationally. They continue to refine their unique sound while engaging in deep introspection. The songs on the new album, “Think of You,” are characterized by melodic sounds and realistic lyrics, as previously showcased in the music video for “In the City Where Cobalt Falls,” which was released on May 21.

The winter-themed album cover was created by illustrator Redregenmann. Continuing their collaboration from the previous album, Lewis Johns and Katsuya (from SLOTHREAT / Misanthropist) were brought on as mixing engineers. Grant Berry (Fader Mastering) was selected as the mastering engineer to achieve the highest quality sound.
