After stepping into silence in 2023 and parting ways with guitarist Acap, trails. return with renewed fire — and a sound that cuts deeper than ever. Their new single, “Penance”, marks a bold departure from their earlier work, embracing heavier textures, emotional weight, and a new creative direction.

“The new track ‘Penance’ was carved from loss. My dad passed away in 2023, so I’m channelling all my grievances into a song. The best part of it is that it’s a totally new style and sound that resonates with me. The writing process isn’t taking too long, as all the song structures are completed in one night.”

The band is influenced by acts such as Converge, Russian Circles, Poison The Well, Frail Body, Static Dress.
