Filipino Hardcore Band BADWAVE Make Waves Performing At Filipino Staple – JOLLIBEE

YOOOOOOO…how could we NOT write about this?!?!?! Are you insane? Filipino hardcore band BADWAVE just threw up pics and videos of them performing at the legendary spot of all Filipino spots – JOLLIBEE! We got photos and a fullset live video streaming below…SO SICK! It turns out, by power of our amazing investigative journalism skills (otherwise known as harassing bands via DM’s), it was actually a friend’s birthday party and the band rolled up.

The band gave us the lowdown – “It’s so awesome that our friend thought of sneaking a pocket gig for her 18th birthday, INSIDE A JOLLIBEE! Surprisingly, the whole event went completely smoothly. We just had to rush our sets because there was another party right after us! hahahaha…We were sure that the staff were totally shocked (including the manager) from what they were witnessing and probably wanted to shut us down. But thankfully, they never cut the power and we finished right on time (buzzer beater style).

We have to thank our friend, the birthday girl, for helping us fulfil one of our wildest dreams (putting on a hardcore show inside a Jollibee). We also want to thank everyone who came out! We had so much fun without any casualties or damages (except for the balloons we burst that was supposed to be used for the next party as well!)”

The band performed this show with their friends in DASPAN EN WALIS and WALKTRIP.
