Powerviolence Duo RATCHET Release Fullset Live Video of Debut Show [Malaysia]

Petaling Jaya-based powerviolence RATCHET kicked off 2025 with a ferocious debut show at Rumah Api, Kuala Lumpur, on January 11. The gig, hosted as part of Toi Et Moi’s demo release party, saw Ratchet sharing the stage with local heavyweights Thawr, Alotloketurd, and Piri Reis.

Formed in 2023 by Shahab and Azedan, Ratchet has quickly garnered attention for their raw, high-energy sound and relentless live presence. Their setlist featured eight blistering tracks, including “Iron Steed”, “Ali Butcher”, and their crushing closer, “Tyrant Tolls”. Carefully crafted, the track placement created a dynamic flow that kept the chaotic crowd fully immersed.
