Metallic Hardcore Band DESPISE Release New Single [Indonesia]

Following the success of their EP ‘In Your Face’, Indonesian Metallic Hardcore band DESPISE has unleashed a hard-hitting new single titled ‘THE GAME’.

DESPISE has elevated their sound, experimenting with heavier, more aggressive tones than on their previous EP. This latest single is a gritty reflection of life in their hometown, known locally as “Sins City.” The song critiques the “illusion game” that entraps local youth, a mix of social media obsession and the unrestrained ambition that often leads young people to lose touch with reality.

“The Game” is a must-listen for fans of hardcore with massive, powerful riffs in the style of Mouth for War, Kublai Khan TX, Bodysnatcher, Paleface, Orthodox, and Chamber. Since forming in 2021, DESPISE has worked tirelessly to establish their unique sound in the hardcore scene, drawing from a diverse range of influences to create music that is as fresh as it is heavy.
