Myanmar Punks THE REBEL RIOT Return With Sophomore Album ‘Dear Comrade’

More than three years after the military coup in Myanmar, THE REBEL RIOT have released their second full length.

“Despite the strict control from the authorities, we were finally able to release it. Sadly, our guitarist passed away from heart failure just before the mixing was finished. This album is more than just a collection of songs. It’s our traumas, anger, and energy, all mixed up with sadness. With these songs, we want to invite friends from all over the world to pay attention to what’s happening in Myanmar and show solidarity. We will donate some of the proceeds from this album to support social projects and people in need in Myanmar.”

If you’re super inclined to learn more about the band and this release in particular, the band has included TONS of information about each track on the album. Hit their bandcamp link below and read through all of it. Every damn word.
