New music video by Indian folk-metal band Dymbur comes with a trigger warning right at the beginning of the video for very good reason. The subject matter of this song and especially the visuals in this video will cause you to pause, repeatedly, throughout the music video. The band states, “This song is about LGBTQ rights and human rights in general. In regards to the issue of child prostitution and discrimination”. Even with that explanation, the visual imagery found in this video didn’t adequately prepare us.
Good for the band to bring this issue(s) to greater attention in their community but now beyond their scene.
