Hong Kong post-hardcore band Still Alive have released its first single in 2022 entitled ‘Era’. The band states that the inspiration for this song came from the fact their current practice space lease was about to run out. This inspired the band to think about whether or not the band should even continue on. At the very least, what it motivated the band to do was write a brand new song before they had to leave their current space.
“But it’s not just about the lease running out, it also reflects our current status. As we get older we’re realizing that time doesn’t wait for anyone. It really is up to use to get out there and do something ourselves.”
