Just in The Past Few Days The World of Hardcore Has Lost Well-Loved Members [RIP]

The past couple of days the world of hardcore has lost some well-loved members of their communities. Here in Asia, the Thai hardcore scene lost an amazing human being named Aum who played in SICK bands like Hatemonday and Last Empire. Our hearts go out to his family and close friends.

And in the US we lost the warmth and kindness of a human being named Brendan Maguire (Stu) who played in bands like Reach the Sky and Bane as well as did lots of behind-the-scenes work with venues around the US and tech-ed/roadied for other bands as well. He was also a well-loved father and husband.

It’s never easy to say goodbye to people and then dealing with loss.

Our hearts go out to all family members and friends to these outstanding individuals…and of course to the countless others who may have passed away recently.

Please take care of each other.
