Post Rock Band As Silent the Forest Release Track Discussing Surviving Cancer [Philippines]

Following their first release “Unsaid” from last year, As Silent the Forest‘s “Tranquility” expresses the emotions of people battling cancer and accepting the reality of the situation.

“Cancer is a deadly friend, willing to stay with you until your last breath but destroys the pillars of your human flesh. Sometimes, it’s better to allow the disease to take its course because after a hard-fought battle you would realize that silence is the best medicine. ”

The lyrics were written by Yon and Andre’s father, inspired by a true story of a cancer survivor, his struggle, the pain, and the process that he has to go through in order to overcome the adversities along the way.
