Korean hardcore band The Geeks earlier this year had toured Japan and today they’ve released two recap videos from that experience.
“Happy holidays! Here is our gift to you. Sharing videos from our Tokyo Tour back in Feb this year. What a special time with our old friends and new friends we made. Lots of valuable memories. Filmed by Seijiro and special thanks again to IFL Booking and Takashi and all the bands we played with and most importantly all of our friends who helped us, watched us, and hung out with us.

What we didn’t know back then was how that last show in Tokyo turned out to be our first and last show of 2020. This unfortunate situation driven by Corona has been tough for all of us…We all miss playing shows and going to shows. The whole experience that we somehow took for granted… has disappeared.

Out of all of this, one thing is clear. We are all still connected through the power of hardcore and punk. How important the music, the scene, the friendship with your loved ones are to all of us. Let’s keep the faith until we are able to play shows internationally and get to interact with all of you in person. Hardcore still lives in the era of Covid 19!”
