That Opening Riff! Check Out Hardcore Band Broken Shaft [China] On New Track ‘Plight’

From the streets of Lanzhou (Northwestern China) comes a brand new killer hardcore band called Broken Shaft! The band was formed by a bunch of punk rock kids who have a massive love for old school hardcore punk, however clearly, when they picked up their instruments to create music, what came out was HEAVY NYHC-influenced hardcore. That opening riff, the anger in the vocals, the grittiness in this black and white music video – all of it screams HARDCORE.

Lyrically, the band states, “Our new material discusses the environment of one’s life and reflecting on inner struggles. Facing these issues head-on instead of running away from it.”
